Description: Learn about Japanese sashiko (meaning “little stab”), an ancient Japanese quilting technique, and how it can be applied to today’s quilt projects. Take this class if you have no prior sashiko experience and would like to continue with the Applique Workshop, Honu and other future classes at Eddie’s Quilting Bee.

Description: Here’s your chance to practice sashiko stitching and combine it with appliqué work. Choose a Sylvia Pippen pattern (we have many beautiful ones in stock), bring it to this workshop and I will help you get started on your project. This workshop is for quilters who have taken the Sashiko Introduction class or have had some experience with sashiko. Experience with appliqué work is also highly recommended.
