I don't know about you, but basket motifs just intrigue me! Usually, samples seem to be made using country-looking fabrics - but I like the idea of using unusual fabrics for the baskets including Asian fabrics! This pattern is easy to make. Using the basket template, cut the basket from pre-pieced strips, then applique to a neutral background. This pattern also includes instructions for a vest made from a sweatshirt. Finished size of the quilt, as shown, is 48" x 48".
